WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's tennis team began the home stretch of its spring regular season with a 7-0 triumph over UMass Boston Monday afternoon. The match was the first of four contests this week in Waltham for Bentley.
Bentley's three doubles teams combined to lose only two sets. On the No. 1 court,
Jairaj Sehwani and
Ansh Chadha won by a 6-0 score, while
Jacob Hartman and
Ben Liptak won by the same score on the No. 2 court.
Reilly O'Brien and
Jonathan Muravchik won their No. 3 doubles match, 6-2.
The Falcons won each of their singles matches in two sets.
Ansh Chadha (6-1, 6-4) won on the No. 1 court, and
Albert Soukup (6-3, 6-3) was victorious on the No. 2 court.
Liptak (6-1, 6-1) competed on the No. 3 court, and
Liam Marr (6-0, 6-0) was Bentley's No. 4 singles player. On the No. 5 court was
Juan Perez (6-3, 6-0), and Muravchik (6-0, 6-0) blanked his counterpart on the No. 6 court.
Bentley next hosts Queens College (N.Y.) Tuesday, April 15, at 2 p.m.
