WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley softball sophomore Jess Morrison was named to the Academic All-District Team, College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.

The Marshfield, Mass. native a breakout year in 2025. She was named to the All-Northeast 10 Third Team after hitting .345 during the regular season.

Including Bentley's seven postseason games, Morrison totaled 14 extra-base hits with a .323 batting average. At one point in the season, Morrison had six two-hit games during a seven-game stretch.

Morrison had a career-high four hits during a 3-1 win at New Haven (April 4).

Batting primarily leadoff for the season, Morrison was integral in Bentley reaching the NCAA Regional title game at Pace.
