ERIE, Pa. – The NCAA Division II Men's Golf Atlantic/East Regional got underway Thursday at the Whispering Woods Golf Club with Bentley University represented by seniors Chris Huban (Cohoes, N.Y./Albany Academy) and Evan Desjardins (Salem, N.H./Salem HS).
               
Huban finished day one of the three-day tournament in a tie for 32^nd amongst a 108-player field. He posted a five-over 77 (39-38) with birds on the par-three sixth hole and the par-five 525.
               
Desjardins turned in an 83, good for a tie for 78^th. His only birdie came on the par-four, 306-yard fourth hole.
               
At the top of the leaderboard is Aidan Talent (Davis & Ekins) with a four-under 68.
               
Tee times for the Bentley players on Friday have Huban going out at 12:30 and Desjardins in the final group at 1:20.
