PORTLAND, MAINE – Bentley women's golf won its third straight tournament to begin the season on Sunday at the University of Southern Maine Invitational.
Isabel Gonzalez Villarreal was the individual winner for the second straight competition.
The Falcons, in just their second season of competition, dominated the field and won by 43 shots with a team score of +33. The next closest team was Keene State. The event was held at Riverside Golf Club in Portland.
Gonzalez Villarreal carded a -1 round of 71 to finish four shots better than teammate
Tanya Chowdary at +3.

th place were also in the top 10.
Bentley began its season with a victory at the Hartford Invitational and followed it up by winning the Franklin Pierce Invitational on Thursday. Gonzalez Villarreal was the individual winner at that event.
The Falcons will now prepare for the Northeast 10 Championship, which begins on Sept. 30 at Stonebridge Country Club in New Hampshire.
