Men's golf finishes in third place in Penmen Invitational

CONCORD, N.H. – Jack Kantowski tied for second place to lead the Bentley men's golf team to a third-place finish in the Penmen Fall Invitational hosted by Southern New Hampshire at Concord Country Club. The two-round event concluded Tuesday.

Kantowski finished with a score 70-74-144, just four strokes behind the lead. John Noonan shot 76-69-145 for the Falcons, good for a tie for fourth place. Robbie Sluga placed 16th out of golfers by shooting 76-75-151.

Noonan's second-round score was a significant seven-stroke improvement from the first round. Braden Yeomans (81-74-155) saw similar improvement when he shot a 74 in the second round. Yeomans tied for 23rd overall.

Bentley next prepares for the Northeast 10 Championship in Candia, New Hampshire, Oct. 8-9. The Championship will be played at Candia Woods Golf Course.
