WINDSOR, Conn. – Bentley women's golf won its first ever tournament this weekend at the Hartford Hawks Women's Invitational, played at Keney Golf Club.

In the first tournament of their second season of competition, the Falcons bested seven other teams with a combined score of +48 to finish eight shots better than Suffolk.

Freshman Isabel Gonzalez-Villarreal finished tied for second individually at +7.

Gaby Becker was seventh at +10

Mari Frigo and Alex Kwon finished in the top-15 in

Play was suspended during the first round on Saturday and completed on Sunday.

The Falcons will next compete on Sept. 18 at the Franklin Pierce Invitational.
