WALTHAM, Mass. – A trio of Bentley volleyball players won weekly awards from the Northeast 10, the conference announced Monday. Elizabeth Blinn, Tory Vitko, and Lulu Pavan were each recognized.

Blinn is the Defensive Player of the Week, Vitko the Setter of the Week, and Pavan the Rookie of the Week.

The two-time defending East Region champions went 3-1 in their opening weekend in the Windjammer Classic hosted by Saint Michael's. The No. 18 Falcons earned wins over East Stroudsburg, Franklin Pierce, and Saint Michael's.

Blinn, who was All-NE10 First Team and AVCA All-Region First Team in 2024, had 21 blocks in the four matches - with a high of 10 against Nebraska-Kearney. Blinn reached at least 10 blocks in three different matches last year.

Vitko had 116 assists during the opeing weekend, averagubg 8.98 per set. She notched 32 assists each in the wins over East Stroudsburg and Franklin Pierce.

Pavan had double-digit kills in each of her first four collegiate matches, totaling 50 for the weekend. She had 14 against both Franklin Pierce and Saint Michael's, and posted a .375 hitting percentage in the victory over the Purple Knights.

Bentley prepares to head to Denver later this week for the Colorado Premier Challenge.
