WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley led the Northeast 10 with 20 student-athletes selected to the conference's fall Academic All-Conference teams.
A highly successful fall semester for Bentley teams on the playing fields carried over to the classroom. To qualify for the Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30, named to their sports' All-Conference teams and must have spent at least two consecutive full-time semesters at the institution.
The NCAA East Region and NE10 champion volleyball team had three honorees,
Elizabeth Blinn,
Sophia Poehlein and
Tory Vitko. Blinn is on the team for the second straight year. All three were named All-Region by the AVCA and Blinn was voted a third team All-America by the AVCA. Poehlein and Vitko were All-America honorable mentions.
The football team, which won the NE10 championship, led all Bentley teams with five players selected. They are
Mike Boutros,
Kieran Campbell,
Mike DiPlacido,
Jake Fredericks and
Henry Schouten. Boutros is a repeat honoree from 2024.
Field hockey was next with four selections, which were
McKenzie Carey,
Layla Conway,
Avery Frommer and
Gracie Moore. That quartet helped the Falcons reach the finals of the NE10 playoffs and receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Moore is a repeat selection from 2024.
Women's cross country was represented by
Molly Capece,
Samantha Doran and
Lily Tedford. Doran and Tedford both qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championship meet. Capece is on the Academic All-Conference team for the second straight year.
Max Lampe from men's cross country team earned a spot on the Academic All-Conference team. He was a third team All-Conference runner in the fall and was Bentley's top runner at both the NE10 Championship and NCAA East Regional meets.
The men's and women's soccer teams each had two honorees.
Michael Haikal and
Luke Mollenhauer represent the men's team. Both players were key in Bentley lifting the NE10 regular season trophy and receiving an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Both were also named All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches.
Holly DiPalo and
Abi Hennessey from the women's team were selected. Both were All-Conference selections during the 2025 season, with DiPalo on the second team as a goalkeeper and Hennessey the third team as a midfielder.
