White named NE10 Coach of the Year, No. 9 Bentley totals seven conference honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – C White is the Northeast 10 Women's Basketball Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year, and five of her players earned All-NE10 honors for the 2025-26 season, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.

All-NE10

White led the No. 9 Falcons to the Northeast 10 Regular Season title, posting a 17-1 record against conference opponents. Bentley went 20-3 overall in the regular season, and the Falcons have been in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) national ranks all season.

Junior Niya Morgen was named to the All-NE10 First Team, and junior transfer Kayana Armbrister earned All-NE10 Second Team. Seniors Cassidy Yeomans and Julia Elie were placed on the All-NE10 Third Team, while Elie was also named to the NE10 All-Defensive Team. Cherish Bryant earned NE10 All-Rookie.

Morgen earns her second consecutive All-NE10 nod after making the All-NE10 Third Team  last year. She is Bentley's leading scorer this season, as Morgen enters the postseason averaging 14.4 points per game. Her scoring average ranks seventh in the NE10. She has four games with at least 20 points, the most recent of which was a 24-point effort in the regular-season finale against Southern New Hampshire (Feb. 25).

Armbrister is in her first year with the Falcons after garnering NCAA DI experience at Tennessee-Martin and Florida Atlantic. She is tied for ninth in the NE10 for rebounding, averaging 6.2 boards per game. Her scoring average of 11.3 points is 15th in the conference. Armbrister has scored at least 20 points in four games this season, including a high of 29 against Daemen (Jan. 1). Armbrister's 48.5 field-goal percentage is tied for the conference lead.

Yeomans has been a staple in the Bentley starting for three consecutive years. This year, she leads the NE10 in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0), and she ranks fifth in assists per game (3.5). Yeomans made a career-high five 3-pointers against Holy Family this season (Dec. 21). She has started all 24 games for Bentley this season. She started 34 of 35 games last year, and she started 32 of Bentley's 33 games as a sophomore.

Elie just barely trails Armbrister in rebounding, averaging 6.1 boards per game.  Her 48.0 field-goal percentage is the second-best mark in the NE10, and she ranks third for blocks per game (1.0). Elie has five double-doubles this season. She set career highs in scoring (17) and rebounding (14) against Saint Anselm (Feb. 4).

Bryant's 46.4 field-goal percentage ranks sixth in the NE10, as the freshman has scored in double figures five times this season. But her game is far more dynamic than just scoring. Bryant dished out seven assists without a turnover at Franklin Pierce (Feb. 7), and she has multiple steals in six games. Bryant pulled down a season-high eight rebounds against American International (Jan. 14).

Bentley's postseason run starts Thursday, March 5, when the top-seeded Falcons host #5 Saint Michael's for a Northeast 10 Semifinal clash. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
