The Falcons entered the bottom of the seventh inning in a 6-5 deficit, but Bentley overcame the odds with a couple of big two-out hits to top the Owls.
Bella Burke led off Bentley's seventh inning by drawing a walk. Two batters later, she appeared to score the game-tying run on a triple hit by
Carly DiMento. After Burke made her way back to the dugout, the SCSU coaching staff questioned the umpires as to whether or not Burke touched home plate. It was decided that Burke did not touch home, and she was ruled out.
The ruling left the Falcons down to their final out with DiMento on third base.
Becca Harris stepped to the plate and blasted a double that allowed to DiMento to undoubtedly score the game-tying run.
Emma Callahan was due up next, and she ripped a base hit to right-center field. Harris rounded third and beat the throw home to win the game.
Earlier in the contest, Callahan hit an RBI single in the second inning that gave Bentley a 2-1 lead.
Breelin McDougal ripped a huge two-run double in the sixth inning. Bentley trailed by a score of 5-3 with Harris on second base and
Hailey Feiler on first. McDougal's two-bagger allowed both runners to score and tie the game, 5-5.
Harris finished the game 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Feiler and Callahan both finished with two hits in the win.

Carly DiMento. DiMento moved to second base on the throw to try to get Burke out at third base.
With two runners in scoring position,
Becca Harris smacked a base hit that drove in both runners. Harris moved into scoring position when
Hailey Feiler came through with a single, and
Emma Callahan tied the game, 3-3, by driving in Harris with a base hit.
The Falcons were down by three runs in the seventh inning, but Bentley loaded the bases with one out. However, the team was unable to capitalize.
Jess Morrison and Harris both went 2-for-4 at the plate in the first game Saturday.
Harris has five multi-hit efforts in her last seven games. During that stretch, she is hitting .700 (14-for-20).
