After sinking three birdies in the first round Wednesday, Kantowski came away with six birdies Thursday. He had three on front nine, and three on the back nine.

"Our goal wasn't to chase the leaderboard, it was to control what we could control," said Bentley head coach
Iain Highfield. "The team's ability to adapt, stay positive, and stay positive after a disappointing first round speaks volumes about their character."
Bentley's next outing is the Penmen Spring Invitational, April 13-14, at the Derryfield Country Club.
