2017: Started all eight games he played and led team in tackles per game (7.6) … tied for second on the squad in total tackles (61) and also had two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and a blocked extra point … played in first 29 games of his collegiate career before being sidelined during weeks eight and nine … career-best 11 tackles Oct. 14 vs. American International … also had ten against Saint Anselm Sept. 8 and nine twice (Sept. 23 vs. LIU Post, Sept. 30 at Pace) …  named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll twice.

2016: Saw action in every game for the second straight year … his 14 tackles included a high of three at LIU Post Sept. 24 … tied for third on team in special teams tackles (6) … Bentley’s Special Teams captain twice (Oct. 7 vs. Assumption, Nov. 4 at New Haven).

2015: Was used in all 11 games during his freshman year … only tackle came Nov. 7 against LIU Post.

Before Bentley: 2015 graduate of Wayland High School where he was a three-sport captain as a senior (football, basketball, track) … was the defensive MVP in the Dual County League as a senior … DCL all-star in football in 2014 and in basketball as a junior … played in the Shriners’ Game, which was held at Bentley in June 2015.

Personal: Age as of Sept. 1: 21 … son of Tom and Janet Carmichael … has three brothers: Tommy (25), Jimmy (23) and Brian (18) … father is a Bentley graduate.
