2023: Appeared in nine games... Season-high nine takes in season-opener against West Chester (Sept. 2)... 75-yard interception returned for a touchdown against Pace (Oct. 14)... Recorded a tackle for a loss against New Haven (Sept. 9) and Pace (Oct. 14).
2022: Started every game in the secondary and finished with 30 tackles, including 22 solo stops … that was tied for fourth most on the team … also credited with four pass break-ups, two tackles for loss and a sack Sept. 23 vs. New Haven … high of six tackles at Pace Nov. 12 … was named to the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both semesters.
2021: Was one of seven Falcons who started every game … from his free safety position, had 54 tackles … that was fourth most on the team and led the Falcon secondary … closed out the season with eight against New Haven in the NCAA playoffs Nov. 19 … had seven stops against Pace Oct. 9 and Franklin Pierce Oct. 30 … returned a fumble for a 15-yard touchdown against Assumption Sept. 11 and forced a fumble against the Greyhounds Nov. 13 in the rematch … was selected for CoSIDA Academic All-District honors as well as a D2ADA Academic Achievement Award.
2020: Bentley did not compete in any games.
2019: Played in all 10 games and started the final three at outside linebacker ... 14 of his 21 tackles were unassisted ... career-best six tackles at Pace Oct. 26 ... had his first career interception Sept. 7 at West Chester ... season totals also included three pass break-ups.
2018: No game action as a freshman.
Before Bentley: 2018 graduate of Cambridge Christian High School where he lettered in football and track and field … Florida Class 2A second-team All-State … All-Hillsborough County honorable mention … helped CCHS to District Championship annually from 2016-18 and the region championship in 2016 and 2018 … helped the Lancers reach the state championship game in 2016 … two-year captain … as a senior, his stars included 103 tackles and 29 receptions for 547 yards and two TDs.
