Biography

Senior running back who transferred to Bentley in 2013 after beginning his collegiate career at Boston College … in two years of game action for the Falcons, has rushed for 668 yards and six TDs … also has 11 receptions for 73 yards … is majoring in marketing with a minor in management.

2015: Team’s second-leading rusher for the second straight season, running for 372 yards with two touchdowns on 127 carries … also had six catches for 43 yards … played in all 11 games with three starts … top performances were 69 yards on 19 carries against Saint Anselm Oct. 10 and 64 on 20 attempts a week later against AIC ...scored one TD in each game.
 
2014: Was second on the team in rushing, gaining 296 yards on 80 carries in six games … 49.3 yards per game and 3.7 yards per carry were both team bests … starter in three games … rushed for four touchdowns, including two Nov. 1 at Assumption when he gained 112 yards on 28 carries … his performance against the Greyhounds earned him a spot on the Nov. 3 Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll … debuted with 84 yards and one TD vs. Mercyhurst Sept. 12 … scored at least one TD in his first four games … gained 66 yards on 10 rushes Sept. 20 at Saint Anselm … 11 of his 16 third down carries resulted in first downs, touchdowns or both.

2013: Was not on the active roster during his first year at Bentley.

2012 (at BC): Did not see any action as a true freshman.

Personal: 2012 graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School where he earned football All-Scholastic honors from both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald as a junior and senior, among many other honors … 2010 Boston Herald Player of the Year … played in two state championship games and helped C-C to a Super Bowl win at Gillette Stadium in 2011 … MVP of Shriners’ All-Star game in 2012 … accolades included 2011 ESPNBoston.com All-State, 2011 Lowell Sun All-Area first team, 2011 Concord-Carlisle Offensive Player of the Year, 2011 Dual County League Small Offensive MVP and 2011 Dual County League Small MVP … New England Prep Stars Football Player of the Year in 2010 … competed in wrestling and track as well as football at Concord-Carlisle … one of five students nominated for The Posse Foundation scholarship … Senator Scott Brown Nomination for Outstanding Athletic Performance in Massachusetts in 2010 … has been involved in community service while at Bentley, BC and C-C, and also in his hometown of Hyde Park … age as of Sept. 1: 22 … son of Ines Vilme and Anthony Craan … has four brothers and two sisters … brothers are Sunny (30), Patrice (29), Anthony (32) and Vladimar (38) … sisters are Kathy (38) and Gigi (27).
