2023: Made nine appearances in his freshman season, with one start and eight relief appearances … earned first career win against Saint Anselm on April 29 with five innings of relief and six strikeouts … struck out 20 on the season in 23.2 innings of work.

Before Bentley: 2021 graduate of Needham High School who prepped at the Winchendon School … lettered in both baseball and basketball … basketball team captain … was an honor student at both Needham and Winchendon.

Personal: Majoring in finance … son of Beata and Rich Fernandez … has one sister, Katie.
