2nd-year team captain … senior defensive lineman who is majoring in marketing … had played in 34 consecutive games before suffering a week three knee injury last September … career totals entering 2015 include 77 tackles, nine tackles for losses, 3.5 sacks, a fumble and a fumble recovery … came to Bentley from North Attleboro High School as did teammates Paul Norris and Eric Beckwith … three varsity letters.

2014: What was supposed to be his final season came to a premature end with a week three knee injury … had nine tackles and two TFL before being sidelined … opened the season with four tackles against Mercyhurst Sept. 6.

2013: Started every game at defensive tackle … his 37 tackles included four for losses (-12 yards) and 1.5 sacks … credited with three QB hurries … six tackles against Assumption Sept. 13 bettered his previous career best by one … had a half-sack against LIU Post Sept. 20 and a full sack Nov. 2 against Southern Connecticut State.

2012: Made 22 tackles in 10 games, with one sack (Oct. 6 vs. Saint Anselm), one fumble recovery (Sept. 28 vs. Stonehill) and one forced fumble (Oct. 20 at AIC) … started five straight games from Oct. 6-Nov. 3 … season-best five stops and a quarterback hurry in the Saint Anselm game … four tackles Sept. 14 at Assumption.

2011: Played in all 10 games as a freshman defensive lineman ... recorded a tackle in his first collegiate game against SUNY Maritime Sept. 2 ... made nine tackles on the season ... had two each against West Virginia Wesleyan Sept. 10 and at Stonehill Sept. 16 ... made a tackle for a loss against Saint Anselm Sept. 23.

Personal: 2011 graduate of North Attleboro High School ... selected to the All-Hockomock League team in 2009 and 2010 ... also a two-time Sun Chronicle All-Area pick ... earned numerous Lineman and Defensive Player of the Game awards from his teammates ... also lettered in baseball (12th grade) and hockey (9th and 10th grade) ... age as of Sept. 1: 22 ... son of Kevin and Arleen Richman ... has one brother, Kevin (24), and one sister, Jennifer (22).
