Senior linebacker who is majoring in economics-finance … standout in the classroom as well as on the field … enters season with 211 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and three fumble recoveries in 31 career games … two-time Academic All-Northeast-10 … team’s leading tackler in both 2014 and 2015.

2015: Led Bentley in tackles for the second straight season with his 92 stops tied for seventh in the Northeast-10 … that earned him selection to the All-Northeast-10 second team … voted to the Academic All-NE-10 team for the second time … season-high 11 tackles twice, Sept. 11 against New Haven and Oct. 17 vs. American International … seven or more tackles in eight of 11 contests … had more tackles on running plays (75) than Bentley’s number two tackler for the season … recovered a fumble Sept. 5 at Mercyhurst … named the NE-10 Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 19 … started every game for the second consecutive season.

2014: Earned Academic All-Northeast-10 honors after becoming first Bentley player since Matt Zahoruiko in 2009 to top the century mark in tackles with his 103 fourth most in the Northeast-10 … also provided 12 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one interception, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble, four pass break-ups and two QB hurries … started all 11 games … finished the season with 19 tackles, including a dozen solo stops, and a forced fumble Nov. 15 at Merrimack … that was the most tackles by a Falcon in at least two decades  and bettered his previous high of 14, set a week earlier at LIU Post … also had 12 tackles at Saint Anselm Sept. 20 and 11 against New Haven Sept. 27 …  intercepted a pass Oct. 25 against Pace and also recovered a fumble against the Setters ... named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week Nov. 17 … appeared on the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll three times (Sept. 22, Oct. 27, Nov. 10).

2013: Saw action in nine games with two starts midseason (Saint Anselm Oct. 5, Pace Oct. 12) … 10 of his 16 tackles were unassisted … career-best seven tackles in the Pace game, including his first career sack … recovered a fumble for a touchdown in the Saint Anselm game.

Personal: 2013 graduate of Barnstable High School, where he was a team captain as a senior … helped the Raiders to 11 straight wins before a one-point loss to Everett in the Division IA Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium … had 15 tackles in that game … was selected as an Old County League all-star … selected for Honors Program and Presidential Scholarship … age as of Sept. 1: 21 … son of Chris and Donna Hardy … has one brother, Greg (23) … his dad played on Ithaca College’s 1979 Division III national championship team … Greg ran track and cross country at Tufts University.
