William Gazlay is Bentley’s Running Backs and Specialists Coach and was hired in the spring of 2025.

Gazlay joined the Bentley coaching staff after serving as the Linebackers and Special Teams Coach at MIT from 2021-24. During his tenure with the Engineers he coached three-time All-American linebacker Paul Calvetti. Seven of his players earned All-NEWMAC honors.

Gazlay played collegiately at Assumption and was a member of the track teams at Assumption and Central Connecticut.

He is currently pursuing his PhD in Biological Chemistry at UMass-Boston.
