Fifth-year senior running back/wide receiver who is majoring in management … will be used at running back and wide receiver this season after starting the first nine games at QB in 2015 … career totals, in 21 games prior to this season, include 1,262 passing yards (120-221, 7 TD), 287 rushing yards (2 TD) and six receptions for 128 yards (1 TD).

2015: Was Bentley’s starting QB in the first nine games before suffering season-ending injury against Assumption Oct. 30 … completed 114 of 207 passes for 1,161 yards, six TDs and eight interceptions … rushed for 263 net yards on 89 carries, with two TDs … earned a spot on the Oct. 12 Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll after amassing 318 yards total offense against Saint Anselm in a 19-14 win … completed 19 of 28 against the Hawks for 227 yards and one TD, and ran for 91 yards on 14 carries … opened the season with 210 passing yards at Mercyhurst.

2014: Appeared in just one game with illness a significant reason … that came Oct. 18 against Southern Connecticut.

2013: Saw action in a variety of roles while appearing in all 11 games … as a back-up QB, completed six of 14 passes for 101 yards and one TD … caught six passes for 128 yards and one TD, and ran for 24 yards on nine carries … on Oct. 12 at Pace, became first Bentley player since John Ferguson and Mike Rymsha in 1995 to both throw and catch a TD pass in the same game … against the Setters, caught four balls for 95 yards and threw a 30-yard scoring pass.

2012: Did not see any game action as a freshman.

Personal: 2012 graduate of Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School … led D-Y to 2012 Division 2A state championship … earned 2011 and 2012 All-Scholastic honors from both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald … 2012 Boston Globe Division 2A Player of the Year … named to the ESPN Boston All-State team and the Massachusetts Super 26 All-State team … All-League selection as a junior and senior … played in the 2012 Shriners Classic at Gillette Stadium and was named Offensive MVP for the South team … Y-D’s team captain as a senior … National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award … also played baseball and hockey … served as captain of both teams and earned All-League honors … age as of Sept. 1: 22 … son of Robert Montalto and Kim Douthwright … has two brothers, Nick (26) and Cory (15).
