2016: Played in all 11 games and started the Falcons’ final seven at defensive end … his 28 tackles included seven for losses and a team-leading 5.5 sacks … his sack total was tied for fourth most in the Northeast-10 … was also credited with three quarterback hurries ... career-best seven tackles and two sacks against Stonehill Oct. 22 … had at least one sack in four of the last five games.

2014: Appeared in two games and made one tackle (Sept. 27 vs. New Haven).

2013: Was in on three tackles while appearing in a total of five games during his first collegiate season.

Before Bentley: 2013 graduate of Bergen Catholic High School … was a two-year starter on defensive line for a team ranked in the top 10 nationally … played in the nation’s hardest division that season, according to numerous rankings … played in New Jersey state championships at MetLife Stadium three times (2010, 2011, 2012) … as a senior, was third on the team in both tackles and sacks … MSG Varsity second-team All-League and All-County in 2012 … finished fourth in state wrestling tournament as a freshman … National Honor Society … National Italian Honor Society.

Personal: Age as of Sept. 1: 23 … son of Robert and Lisa Rigoglioso … has two brothers, Robert (21) and Michael (15) … father wrestled at Boston College … grandfather, Charles Rigoglioso, was a boxer at Syracuse University and in the Olympics … several of his uncles and cousins also competed in college sports, including his cousin, Jessica Rigoglioso, a former women’s lacrosse player at Bentley … another cousin, Steve Maneri, has played in the NFL … has volunteered at the Waltham Boys and Girls Club.
