Third-team All-Northeast-10 honoree who led team in rebounding (8.2) and blocks (1.0), and was third in scoring (14.4), while playing 35.8 minutes a game ... also led the team in field goal percentage (.508), offensive rebounds (82) and defensive rebounds (156) ... was the premier offensive rebounder in the Northeast-10, averaging 2.8 a game, and was also second in the conference in total rebounds (238), fourth in average rebounds and sixth in minutes per game ... nine double-doubles including career-high 26 points and 13 rebounds at Southern New Hampshire Dec. 5 and 20 and 14 against Le Moyne Jan. 9 ... played 40 minutes or more six times ... Bennett Most Improved Player Award … was second on the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13.3 points and 6.1 boards while playing 28 minutes a game … .566 field goal percentage was third best in the Northeast-10 and 41st best in Division II, including number two among sophomores … was also fifth in the NE10 in free throw percentage (.838) and sixth in offensive rebounds per game (2.5) … made 22 of 42 3-pointers (.524), including 10 of 15 to finish the season … started the Falcons’ first five games and the final 17 … as a starter, averaged 14.8 points and 6.7 rebounds with Bentley posting a 13-9 record ... at home, shot .619 overall and made 12 of 17 3’s while averaging 14.2 points … scoring average climbed from 10.3 before Jan. 1 to 14.3 in January to 16.8 in February … closed out the season by scoring in doubles in 13 straight games, a stretch in which he averaged 16.5 points while shooting .564 overall, .538 from three and .894 at the line … Bentley was 4-1 when he scored 20 points or more … career-best 25 points on 10/12 shooting Nov. 12 vs. Concordia (N.Y.) … double-doubles against Southern Connecticut Jan. 20 (15 points, 11 rebounds) and a month later against Franklin Pierce (16 points, 14 rebounds) … named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll five times.

2016-17 Season

Led Bentley in minutes played off the bench (289 in 23 contests, an average of 12.6 per game) … averaged 3.8 points and 2.7 rebounds, leading Falcon freshmen in both categories … among players with at least 200 minutes played, led the Falcons in offensive rebounds per 40 minutes, averaging 3.6 … at St. Michael’s Feb. 15, came off the bench to give Bentley 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting … also scored in doubles Dec. 19 when he had 10 points in only 13 minutes at American International … set season highs with nine rebounds, four offensive rebounds and 25 minutes against Southern New Hampshire Feb. 6.

Before Bentley

2016 graduate of the Williston Northampton School ...  previously attended Hodgdon High School … while at Williston, was a teammate of former Falcon standout Ryan Richmond … helped Williston to New England Private School Athletic Conference Class A championships in 2015 and 2016 … during his final year at Hodgdon, helped the Hawks win the Class D state championship … in the title game, had 21 points, 17 rebounds, five blocks and three assists … named Bangor Daily News All-Maine that season.
