2017-18 Season

Averaged 11.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 30.6 minutes while starting all 28 games … shot 42 percent from beyond the arc, making 46 of 109, and also shot 83 percent at the foul stripe … was sixth in the Northeast-10 in free throw percentage and 14th in three-point accuracy … in home games, averaged 14 points while shooting .504 overall, .463 from deep and .816 free throws … most productive month was December when he scored 14.7 points per game … Bentley was 11-4 during the 15 games in which he scored in double figures … season-high 23 points Nov. 15 against Stonehill and again Dec. 29 against Dominican (N.Y.) … only double-double game at Pace Jan. 27 when he finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds … made 26 consecutive free throws from Dec. 2-Jan. 13 … was named to the Dec. 11 Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll.

2016-17 Season

Was Bentley’s second-leading scorer, averaging 13.2 points as well as 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 19 games … as a starter in ten games, gave the Falcons 17.3 points per game while shooting .457 from the field, .377 from three and .871 at the line … an ankle injury in early February prematurely ended his season, forcing him to miss the final seven games … scored at least 20 in four of his ten starts, including 20 in his first one, Dec. 10 at Stonehill … career-high 22 points, on 9-15 shooting, Dec. 30 against Bridgeport … before cracking the starting five for the first time, averaged 8.4 points off the bench … projection of 21.3 points per 40 minutes was 12th best in the Northeast-10 … named to the Jan. 23 Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll.

2015-16 Season

Saw action in 18 games during his freshman season … averaged 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds while playing 7.3 minutes a game … was perfect on his eight free throw attempts and knocked down 7 of 17 three-pointers (.412) … had a pair of six-point games (Dec. 12 at St. Michael’s, Jan. 30 vs. Southern Connecticut State) … in addition, grabbed a season-best five rebounds in the Southern Connecticut game.

2014 graduate of Hampden Academy who prepped at Bridgton Academy … was Maine’s Gatorade Player of the Year and a first-team All-State selection in 2014 … was also a finalist for Mr. Maine Basketball … two-time Eastern Maine Class A tournament MVP and two-time Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A Player of the Year … team captain as a junior and senior … helped Hampden win the state championship in 2013, three Eastern Maine titles (2012, 2013, 2014) and three KVAC championships (2012, 2013, 2014) … poured in 38 points in the 2014  Eastern Maine Class A final against Oxford Hills … received the Maine McDonald’s Spirit of the Game award … reached the 1,000-point milestone in his final home game with Hampden … finished his Hampden career with 1,146 points, 476 rebounds and a 63-3 record … put up 23 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals a game as a senior … at Bridgton, averaged 12 points, five rebounds and three assists.
