Box Score WALTHAM, Mass. – Senior Kim Volinski scored two first half
goals to pace Adelphi to a 4-0 win over the Bentley University
women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 play.
Her first goal came in the 8th minute, as she redirected a cross
from senior Kristen Dexter with her head and scored from 10 yards
out. She struck again in the 14th minute, taking a through ball
from senior Brianne McDonnell and firing a shot from the left wing
that found the back of the net for a 2-0 Adelphi lead.
Senior Emily Dunne and sophomore Alison Gronenthal added goals
in the 60th and 73rd minutes respectively to finish out the scoring
for Adelphi.
Bentley returns to action on Tuesday afternoon when they host
Stonehill at 3:30 p.m.
