Kaduboski Earns Honorable Mention All-America Honors with 9th Place Finish

CANTON, Ohio -- Bentley University junior Anne Kaduboski (Dedham, Mass./Dedham HS) earned honorable mention All-America honors after finishing ninth in the 200 yard butterfly at the NCAA Division II Women's Swimming Championships Friday night at the C.T. Branin Natatorium.

 

Kaduboski, the first women's swimmer in the program's history to place in the top 16 at the nationals, posted a time of 2:05.00 in the consolation finals, a heat in which she trailed only Tanya Sylvester of Truman State University by eight-hundredths of a second.

 

In the morning prelims, she finished third in her heat and 11th overall, posting a time of 2:05.52.   A total of 32 swimmers participated in the event.

 

Kaduboski, who finished 25th of 41 in the 100 fly on Thursday, will conclude her second trip to the NCAA championships on Saturday when she competes in thw 200 backstroke.
