WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior Mike Walsh (South Salem, N.Y./John Jay HS) has been named the Men's Diving Athlete of the Week for the second straight time and the 11th time in his career.

Walsh earned the most recent accolade for his performance in the Betty Spears Relays on Saturday at Wellesley College. He placed second in the one-meter diving with a score of 250.85 and was third in the three-meter diving (213.90).

Last year, Walsh was the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Men's Diver of the Year and the runner-up in the three-meter diving at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.

The Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll included Bentley junior All-America Jessica Hodsdon (Brewer, Maine/Brewer HS). She swam in five relays during the Betty Spears Relays and was part of two winning efforts (300 breast, 200 medley), two seconds (200 fly/breast, 400 free) and one third (300 fly). Her splits included 30.41 and 30.76 in 50 breast, 28.49 in 50 fly, 1:08.29 in 100 breast, and 57.01 in 100 free. In addition, she also won the "eliminator" competition in the breaststroke.
