Hodsdon Wins 100 Breaststroke at UConn Husky Open

STORRS, Conn. – Bentley University senior swimmer Jessica Hodsdon (Brewer, Maine/Brewer HS) turned in a winning effort in the 100 breaststroke while competing in the UConn Husky Open Saturday afternoon at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.

Hodsdon reached the wall in 1:06.36, edging junior teammate Amanda Le (Chelmsford, Mass./ Chelmsford HS) by four-tenths of a second. A total of 27 athletes competed in the event.

Hodsdon was also second of 33 in the 100 butterfly, finishing in 59.44, and posted a 2:30.94 to place fifth of 20 in the 200 breast. Le recorded her second second-place finish of the meet in the 200 breast, recording a 2:22.28.
