Almog Takes 1st in 1-Meter Diving at Pace

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Bentley University sophomore Hilla Almog (Wayland, Mass./Wayland HS) finished first in the women's one-meter Saturday during the Pace University Diving Invitational at the Goldstein Athletics Center pool.

Almog totaled 226.10 points to edge teammate Mary Huminski (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand HS) by 6.25 points.

In the three-meter competition, Huminski took third with a 210.60 and Almog was ninth with a 176.05. Winning the event was Sacred Heart's Olivia McNicholas with a 235.55.

On the men's side, Bentley graduate student Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) was fourth off both boards, with scores of 202.65 from the one-meter and 165.76 from the three-meter.

Bentley's next meet is January 10 at home against St. Michael's College.
