Bentley Men Compete in River Hawk Invitational; Tolan Cracks NE10 Top 10 List

BOSTON, Mass. – Bentley University senior Brice Tolan (Abington, Mass./Abington HS) moved into the top ten in the 800 meters on the Northeast-10 Conference performance list while competing in the River Hawk Invitational Saturday at The Track at New Balance.

Tolan was 15th in a 55-runner field in the 800 with his time of 1:57:15 a new indoor personal best by 1.38 seconds. Also in the 800, freshman Ryan Orr (Stonington, Conn./Stonington HS) was 21st (1:57.76), a PR by 1.80 seconds and senior Jack Deehan (Westwood/Westwood HS) was 24th (1:57.99). Orr moved to 11th on the NE10 list and Deehan climbed to 13th.

Bentley achieved at least ten new PRs during the meet, including junior Evan Bean (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa HS), who was 34th in the 400 with a 52.48.

Junior Ryan Dennehy (Andover/Andover HS) had the best day of his indoor career with both his 7.42 in the 60 and 23.60 establishing new PRs. His previous best in the 200 was 24.31.

On Thursday and Friday, Bentley will return to New Balance for the New Englands.
