WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley sophomore Steven D'Alessandro is the men's indoor track & field recipient for the prestigious Northeast 10 Sport Excellence Award, the conference announced Thursday. The award considers both athletic and academic excellence.

D'Alessandro earned All-Region honors in both the 3,000-m and the 5,000-m, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). He had the region's third-best 3K time, achieving a mark of 8:35.13 at the Reggie Poyau meet. D'Alessandro had the region's second-best 5K time, crossing the finish line in 14:56.08 at the BU Terrier Classic.

He won silver in both events during the Northeast 10 Championship.
