BOSTON, Mass. – Senior sprinter
Eman Nda qualified for the finals of the 60 meter dash at the New England Championships this weekend, held at the Reggie Lewis Track.
Nda ran a 6.96 in the prelims to finish in the top eight and qualify for the finals. He improved his time in the finals at 6.92 and finished in seventh.
That is the second fastest 60 meter time in program history, just behind his own school record of 6.88.
In the 800,
Ryan Orr finished fourth in the prelims with a time of 1:54.38 to qualify for the finals. But due to injury management he opted out of the final.
Jason Fournier also ran the prelims in the 800 and posted a time of 2:06.46.
