NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Hayden MacArthur and
Ryan Orr repeated as medalists in the 800-m to lead the Bentley men's track & field team in the Northeast 10 Championship at Southern Connecticut. The two-day event concluded Saturday.
Results
MacArthur took silver in the 800-m, crossing the finish line in 1:51.84. Orr earned bronze in the race, posting a time of 1:53.94.
MacArthur added a second silver medal when he finished second in the 1,500-m. MacArthur posted a time of 3:56.36 in that event.
MacArthur's third silver medal was a team effort, as the Falcons' 4x800-m relay team posted a second-place time of 7:45.69.
Rocco Bueti,
Michael Eddy, and Orr joined MacArthur in the effort.
Eman Nda placed fifth in the 100-m, posting a finals time of 10.85 seconds. Earlier this spring, Nda twice set the school record in the event. Before this season, the Bentley 100-m record of 10.90 seconds stood since 2002.
Steven D'Alessandro contributed to Bentley's point total when he placed sixth in the 3,000-m, crossing the finish line in 15:24.88). Alex Gowzdz chipped in a couple of points by finishing sixth in the 400-m hurdles, finishing with a time of 57.07 seconds.
As a team, the Falcons finished seventh with 46 points.
