WALTHAM, Mass. – A trio of Bentley men's track & field athletes earned All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the outdoor season.
USTFCCCA All-Region
Hayden MacArthur (800-m, 1,500-m),
Ryan Orr (800-m), and
Eman Nda (100-m) are Bentley's recipients.
MacArthur holds the region's second-fasted time in the 800-m, achieving a time of 1:51.84 during the Northeast 10 Championships. His top time in the 1,500-m is 3:55.58. He accomplished that time during the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific.
Orr's best mark in the 800-m this spring in the 800-m is 1:52.81, good for fourth in the region. That was his time in the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific.
During the NE10 Championships, MacArthur won silver in the 800-m, and Orr took Bronze in the event.
Nda holds the region's best time in the 100-m at 10.53 seconds. However, windy conditions during the Southern New Hampshire Ed Daniels Classic prevent that marking from being a school record. That said, Nda still set the school record in the 100-m this spring. He achieved a record-setting time of 10.64 seconds during the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific. The previous Bentley record of 10.90 seconds stood since 2002 (Sam Ekejuiba).
