COLCHESTER, Vt. – Volleyball extended its winning streak to nine matches with a 3-0 sweep of Saint Michael's on the road.

The Falcons improved to 13-3 and 4-0 in the NE10 with the victory by scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-18.

Ingrid Murphy and Rachel Vitko led a balanced attack with nine kills each. Caitlin Wunder had five kills and Elizabeth Blinn, Maddy Kelley and Hannah Rounds each had four.

Kelley also notched four block assists. Freshmen Elliet Manning had a match high 17 assists.

The Falcons closed the first set on a 9-3 run to take a 1-0 lead.

Bentley trailed the second set 22-19 but won six of the final seven points and the last three in a row. Murphy had an ace, Kelley a kill and Wunder a kill to close it out 25-23.

In the third set Bentley led by as much as nine points at 16-7 and 17-8, on its way to closing the match 25-18.

Bentley is now off until Oct. 14 when they take on both Holy Family and Post.
