WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman
Tory Vitko amassed 44 assists to lead the Bentley volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-15, 23-25, 25-14, 25-9) victory at Assumption Tuesday night.
Vitko's previous season high was 33 assists, which she achieved Bentley's previous match – a 3-0 win at Southern Connecticut.
The Falcons attacked at a .288 clip, with three players posting double-digit kills. Freshman
Sophia Poehlein led the way with 14 kills, and she added 10 digs for her first career double-double.
Rachel Vitko had 11 kills, and
Caitlin Wunder added 10.
Jazzy Burke totaled a season-high 23 digs, as Bentley held the Greyhounds to a .118 hitting percentage.
The Falcons have another road match Thursday, Oct. 24, at Mercy.
