Waltham, Mass. – Four different players scored as Bentley remained unbeaten on the season with a 4-0 victory over Saint Anselm on Wednesday.
Johann Fraser had three assists in the second half.
The Falcons improved to 3-0-2 overall and 1-0 in the Northeast 10.
Evan Levine scored his third goal of the season in the 15
th minute, and the Falcons poured it on in the second half with three goals. Fraser had an assist on each of the goals.
Logan Veloria scored his first career goal just 26 seconds into the second half. Fraser played a quick through ball to Veloria, whose low shot found the bottom left corner from 12 yards for a 2-0 lead.
It became 3-0 when
Bendix Staade fired in a goal in the 57
th minute.
Luke Mollenhauer played a long ball from midfield that Fraser got on the end of near the touchline. He then threaded a pass through the penalty area that Staade blasted into the left corner for the goal from 12 yards.
Fraser and Veloria then combined to setup
Antonio Santos for a goal in the 61
st minute. Veloria played a pass to Santos, who then combined with Fraser on a one-two combo that saw Santos finish the move with a deft finish over the keeper's head for the goal.
The Falcons will look to keep their unbeaten run going on Saturday when they host Assumption at 10:00 am.
