WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley's men's track & field team claimed several top-five finishes during the Reggie Poyau Invitational hosted by Brandeis Saturday afternoon.
Sam Capobianco won the 3,000-m by crossing the finish line in 8:47.64. He was nearly four full seconds ahead of the second place runner.
Hayden MacArthur was second in the mile, timing in at 4:29.75. He was just over two seconds behind the lead runner. Falcon runners finished fifth through eighth in the event.

Eli Batista was fifth out of 51 sprinters in 60-m with a time of 7.14 seconds, and
Eman Nda was seventh by crossing the finish line in 7.17 seconds.

Gabriel Appiah was fourth out of 24 long jump competitors, clearing 6.06-m.
Bentley's next meet is the Riverhawk Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell at New Balance, Jan. 24.
