BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – The Bentley women's swimming and diving team swam past Bridgewater State, 168.5-73.5 on Wednesday night to improve to 6-2 on the season in dual meets.
Cara Schwacke won the first individual race of the meet in 1000 free by almost 31 seconds as she cruised to victory with a time of 11:34.31.
Caroline Ubert and Bridgewater's Jenna Fiebiger tied for first in the 50 free with identical times of 26.79.
Bella Montanari was victorious in the 200 IM in 2:17.81, her time just over two seconds better than teammates
Grace Motisi. The next closest finisher, Bridgewater's Brynn Murray, was almost 12 seconds behind.
Skyla Lang picked up a win in the 100 fly, touching the wall first in 1:01.68.
Taylor White in the 100 free (49.74),
Jordan Nuzback in the 100 back (1:04.57) and
Michelle Li in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.93) were winners as well.
Madison Capria won the second distance race of the meet, as she took the 500 free (5:31.28) by just over a second over Motisi.
Following Wednesday night's win, the Falcons are back in the pool on Sunday when they host Pace for Senior Day at 2:00 pm.
