BOSTON – Members of the Bentley men's track & field team competed well against NCAA D-I student-athletes during the Riverhawk Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell at the TRACK at New Balance.
Results
Sam Capobianco placed 27
th out of 74 runners in the 800-m, crossing the finish line in 1:58.04. He was also 27th in the mile with a time of 4:20.97. Both of those times are personal records for Capobianco, and they both rank #2 in the Northeast-10 this season. In those races, he topped runners D-I programs like UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell, Fordham, Merrimack, Stony Brook, and Bryant.
Hayden MacArthur was4 40th in the 800-m, timing in at 1:59.41. He finished ahead from D-I runners from Merrimack, Maine, and UMass Lowell.
Mason Behl 23rd out of 48 runners in 5,000-m (15:54.78), besting runners from NCAA D-I programs such as Bryant and Merrimack.
Eman Nda's 60-m time of 7.07 seconds is tied for sixth all time in Bentley history.Â
Bentley's next meet is the John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University, Feb. 1.
