BOSTON – Bentley women's track & field senior
Caitlin Burmester shined against NCAA D-I student-athletes during the Riverhawk Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell at the TRACK at New Balance Saturday.

Burmester was 10
th out of 74 runners in the 800-m, crossing the finish line with a time of 2:15.69. Bested runners from D-I programs such as Yale, Northeastern, Holy Cross, and more.
Burmester also placed eighth in the mile run, timing in at 4:55.16. There were 110 runners in that event. Burmester's mile currently ranks #1 in the Northeast-10, and #23 in NCAA D-II. She his a provisional NCAA D-II Championship qualifier in the event.Â
Lily Tedford (5:17.81) finished 44th in the mile, as her time ranks #3 in the conference this season.
Bentley's next meet is the John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University, Feb. 1.
