WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley sophomore Lily Tedford is the women's indoor track & field recipient for the prestigious Northeast 10 Sport Excellence Award, the conference announced Thursday. The award considers both athletic and academic excellence.

Tedford won gold in the NE10 mile, was her winning time of 5:07.55 was nearly two seconds faster than the second-place finisher.

Tedford earned All-Region honors in both the mile and the 800-m, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Tedford ran the region's fastest mile with a time of 4:57.77 at the BU Valentine Invitational. She posted the fifth-best 800-m time by crossing the finish line in 2:18.08 at the Gordon Kelly meet.
