Women's track & field split between California, UMass Lowell this weekend

AZUSA, Calif. – Amelia Luetjen and Lily Tedford competed on the West Coast, while the rest of the Bentley women's track & field team stayed local this weekend. Luetjen and Tedford competed in the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific, while other members of the Bentley squad competed in the George Davis Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell.

Tedford ran the 1,500-m in 4:35.30, which stands as the East Region's best time in the event. Luetjen competed in the 800-m, where she finished with a time of 2:23.74. She finished just a hair shy of her best time for the season (2:23.57).

At UMass Lowell, three Falcons placed top-10 in the respective events. Hannah Croteau was sixth in the 400-hurdles, timing in at 1:10.22. Molly Capece was eight in the 3,000-m when she crossed the finish line in 11:03.03.

Mia Bonner placed ninth in the triple jump by clearing 10.77-m. That mark currently ranks 10th in the East Region this season.
