NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Lily Tedford won gold in the 1,500-m to lead the Bentley women's track & field team in the Northeast Championship at Southern Connecticut. The two-day meet concluded Saturday.

Tedford's winning time in the 1,500-m was 4:41.43, more than 2.5 seconds ahead of the next runner.
Molly Capece earned points in the event for the Falcons, placing seventh with a time of 5:11.59.
Tedford just missed out on getting a medal in the 800-m. She placed fourth with a time of 2:18.33.
The Falcons' 4x800 relay team placed third with a time of 10:00.03.
India Haynesworth,
Amelia Luetjen,
Julia Rubin, and Tedford comprised the team.
Mia Bonner added to Bentley's points total by scoring in the long jump. She cleared 10.49-m to place seventh. Delia Kelley scored in the 3,000 steeplechase, as her time of 13:12.99 was good for eighth.
As a team, Bentley scored 30 points and placed eight.
