WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's basketball team is the favorite to win the 2025-26 Northeast 10 crown, according to the conference's preseason poll of head coaches that was released Tuesday.

Bentley edged out Assumption for the top spot, collecting 73 points to the Greyhounds' 70 points. The Falcons received three first-place votes, and Assumption received four votes as the conference favorite. Adelphi placed third in the poll with 67 points (three first-place).

The 2025-26 Bentley squad returns four players who started at least 22 games last year, including All-NE10 selections Cooper Farrall and Cash McClure. Last year's team posted an 18-10 overall record, with a 14-6 record in conference play. The Falcons reached the postseason for the ninth consecutive season.

The 2025-26 campaign begins in the Caldwell Tip-Off Tournament, Nov. 14-15. The season-opener is against Dominican (N.Y.), followed by a game against the hosts - Caldwell.

Bentley's home-opener is Nov. 25 against Assumption, which is also the first NE10 game of the season.
