KENOSHA, Wisc. – Bentley's
Lily Tedford and
Samantha Doran competed on the national stage on Saturday morning at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships.
Running at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course, Tedford finished the 6K course in 22:48.7 and was 193
rd overall.
Doran clocked a time of 23:08.3.
Tedford was the sixth best finisher among runners from the East Region. Doran was just outside the top-10 among competitors from the East Region and was 220nd overall.
Both athletes were previously named first team All Northeast 10 and qualified for the NCAA Championship based on their finishes at the East Regional meet on November 8.
Tedford and Doran gave Bentley women's cross country a representative at the NCAA Championships for a third straight season.
