Bentley Cruises Past Brandeis 143-70

WALTHAM, Mass. – Cross-town rivals Bentley and Brandeis met in the pool on Friday night and the Falcons dominated in a 143-70 victory.

Ethan Rehkopf won both the 50 and 100 free races with a time of 22.12 in the 50 and 48.10 in the 100.

Daniel Ivanchikov posted an impressive time in the 200 fly of 1:57.80 to win the race by almost eight seconds.

Matt Walden was victorious in the 200 back with a time of 2:03.72.

Leighton Wielgoszinksi swept the distance free races, winning the 500 by almost 14 seconds (4:50.92) and the 1000 by nearly two minutes (10:05.91).

In the meet opening 400 medley relay, the team of Ivanchikov, Thomas Miele, Zach Ellis and Jack Meekins won in 3:37.58.

Now 3-0 on the season, Bentley next faces Babson on November 15.
