WORCESTER, Mass. – Bentley finished in third place as the Northeast 10 Men's Swimming and Diving Championships concluded on Sunday night.
The Falcons ended the meet with 684 points to come in third place, behind the winners Bridgeport and second place Adelphi.
On the final day, Matt Walden and
Griffin Keliher medaled in the 200 backstroke. Walden was the silver medalist with a time of 1:51.60 and Keliher the bronze medalist at 1:51.99.
Thomas Miele was fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:08.69) and Leighton Wielgoszisnki was fifth in the marathon 1650 freestyle race (16:18.94).
Daniel Ivanchikov was fifth in the 200 fly (1:52.16).
Jack Meekins qualified for the finals in the 100 free to earn points towards Bentley's overall total.
The meet concluded with the 400 free relay and Bentley's team of Meekins, Ivanchikov,
Alex Kosel and
Ethan Rehkopf swam well and were fourth, missing the bronze by just .66 seconds.
