HOPKINTON, N.H. – Bentley's Lily Tedford and Samantha Doran qualified for the NCAA Championship meet in two weeks after they finished in fifth and sixth place respectively at the NCAA Division II East Regional on Saturday.

The 6K race was held at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds.

Tedford's time of 22:08.58 was good for fifth place and Doran was right behind her at 22:10.94 for sixth place.

Both sophomores, it will be the initial NCAA national appearance for both.

Their results nearly mirrored their finishes at the NE10 Championship two weekends ago when Tedford was fourth and Doran was fifth.

As a team on Saturday the Falcons finished eighth out of 16.

Marisa Rayhill was Bentley's third best finisher with a time of 24:37.37 to come in 44^th place.

The NCAA Championship meet is on November 22 in Kenosha, Wisconsin at the Wayne E Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
