WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's track and field team competed at two different meets this weekend, the Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University and the Panther Invitational II hosted by Plymouth State.
At the Panther Invite, sprinter
Eman Nda performed well with a third place finish in the 60 meter (6.88) and a fourth place finish in the 200 meter (23.10).
Eli Batista was seventh in the 60 with a time of 7.17.
Other top-10 finishers for the Falcons were
William Reiser in the 800 (2:03.37) and
Michael Eddy in the one mile (4:34.85).
A group of distance runners concurrently competed at the Terrier Classic, which featured athletes from all three NCAA Divisions.
Sam Capobianco was Bentley's top finisher in the 3000 (8:33.49). In the one mile,
Hayden MacArthur (4:26.13) and
Rocco Bueti (4:28.93) were the team's top finishers.
The Falcons will next compete at the URI Coaches Invitational on February 8, as they continue to gear up for the NE10 Indoor Championships on Feb. 22-23.
