BOSTON, Mass. – Caitlin Burmester and Lily Tedford both ran their season best times in the one mile at the BU Valentine Invitational on Saturday.

Burmester ran a 4:51.88 which topped her previous season best of 4:53.52, which was already the fastest mile time in the region this season. She ran that time at BU two weeks ago.

She finished 90^th on Saturday in a field that had well over 300 runners, the majority from Division I schools.

Tedford's time of 5:08.68 bested the time she ran two weeks ago at BU of 5:11.05. Her time on Saturday is the fifth best in the region so far.

The Falcons will next compete at the NE10 Championship on Feb. 22-23 at the New Balance Track.
