Eman Nda blazed to a school record in the 60-m this winter. He crossed the finish line in 6.88 seconds during the Panther Invitational II (Feb. 1), shattering the previous school record of 7.03 seconds. The previous 60-m record was set by Darrell Crosby-Williams in 1992, and matched by Edy-Elliot Uthman-Olukokun in 2014.
Nda's 60-m time is tied for fourth in the NE10 this season.
Among all NE10 runners this winter,
Sam Capobianco is first in the mile by nearly three seconds (4:16.78). He made that mark during the David Hemery Valentine Invitational (Feb. 14). Capobianco also ranks second in the 3,000-m (8:33.49), which he achieved during the John Thomas Terrier Classic (Jan. 31).
Furthermore, Capobianco ranks second in the 5,000-m with a time of 15:24.90 (Early Bird at New Balance, Dec. 7).
